SHIPPING SEGMENTS
Segments will need to be shipped truck freight. For ‘IN STOCK’ segments, please allow 3-4 business days before we ship for crating and coordinating of shipping with freight carrier. We can only ship segments within the contiguous 48 US states. Segments are shipped in a PLYWOOD BOX. Usually the weight is under 200lbs. If you want the segments shipped, our store will charge $825 shipping cost. Part of this is used for the crating fee. A $325.00 crating fee will be added to any non-pickup order for segments – no matter how many segments you order. This fee covers the cost of plywood and shop time for building the crate. We encourage RV repair shops to order multiple segments at a time and stock your shelves to spread your shipping costs.
SHIPPING INFORMATION
We may contact you with an actual shipping cost before we ship. We will refund any overage or contact you if more money is required for shipping. We DO NOT automatically include the use of a liftgate at delivery. If you allow or request the driver use his liftgate at delivery, YOU will be responsible for the extra charge (normally $75-100). If you need the use of a liftgate at delivery, please make a note in ‘Order notes.’
NOTE: Shipping to a recognized business is less expensive. If you are not a business but can arrange to have it shipped to a recognized business, it will save on shipping costs. You can also pick the segment up at our Helena, Ohio shop. Ohio state and Local tax of 7.25% will be charged on pick up orders unless you provide a tax exempt form. Please let us know in ‘Order Notes’ on a tentative pick-up date. If the segments are not in stock, we will inform you when they arrive from Airstream.
It is YOUR RESPONSIBILITY to check your order upon arrival. WE WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE for any damage to your shipment after 30 days.
